Libraries Thriving was an effort for Credo to speak directly to librarians from a peer-perspective. The hope was to create a collaborative space for e-resource innovation and information literacy promotion. Though Libraries Thriving has fizzled out for now, I decided to create an identity for the platform.
I wanted to logo to evoke community, education, and credibility. I took the initials of Libraries Thriving and decided to create a library-esque structure. The colors are bold yet subtle so that Libraries Thriving can be viewed as inviting yet dependable and sincere. Since Credo serves a few different markets (academic universities, public libraries, K-12 schools) I wanted to expand the color palette to represent those three markets as well as identify the blog page.Below are the finalized logos for those sectors.
